Midgard Self Storage announced the grand opening of its newest facility in Sapphire. The public is welcome to celebrate on May 23 at 11 a.m. with food and prizes. The facility is located on Rosman Highway just west of Highway 281-South. It offers climate-controlled units and state-of-the-art site check-in, according to a news release. In-person and website check-in is available for those interested. The storage units feature 24-hour secure access seven days a week with U-Haul and packing and moving supplies available for purchase. A large self-storage project that would use about 5 of the 19 acres behind the Campus Shopping Plaza, 438-454 Russell St., continues to make its way through the town’s permitting process.
