If you have been driving down Route 37 in Toms River you have seen several new construction projects. One of which is rather large and will be the future home of “Public Storage” a new storage facility under construction in Toms River.
According to their website “Since opening our first self-storage facility in 1972, we’ve grown to become the largest owner and operator of self-storage facilities in the world. With thousands of locations across the U.S. and Europe, and more than 170 million net rentable square feet of real estate, we’re also one of the largest landlords.”

Currently, there are several Public Storage facilities in the Ocean and Monmouth County area. There are locations in Berkeley Township, Brick Township, Jackson Township, Howell Township, Eatontown, Tinton Falls, Middletown, and more. This will be a big addition to the Toms River area, which is located right off Route 37 near Mcdonald’s and Stop and Shop off Route 37 on Batchelor Street.
