Leesburg commissioners have approved the construction of a 190,000-square-foot storage facility.
The building which will be used as an indoor self-storage facility, is located west of U.S. Hwy. 27 and north of El Presidente Boulevard.
It will also have an outdoor area for the storage of boats, RVs and campers. The main building will also contain a manager’s apartment.
The commission also annexed the 10.02-acre parcel which will hold the self-storage building and established a Planned Unit Development PUD for the developer, Infinity Holdings 111 which is located at 27101 U.S. Hwy 27 in Leesburg.
The PUD sets a maximum building height which shall not exceed three stories with a maximum height of 35 feet. Access to the self-storage area will be off of U.S. Hwy. 27.
