A self-storage facility has begun construction along Loxahatchee Road in Parkland. Exterior walls fronting Loxahatchee Road are now in full view for local drivers as the project makes major progress.

The storage facility project was approved in the spring of 2024, when the Parkland City Commission voted unanimously to amend the Future Land Use Map to Commercial, which allowed the 4.35 acres to be rezoned to Self-Storage.

The building is expected to be a 3-story, approximately 150,000-square-foot facility.

The project is owned by Parkland Storage, LLC, and the land where the storage facility will be located is at 7820 Loxahatchee Road.
