Porterstore, the Chorley-based self-storage business, has opened a new site in nearby Adlington.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n Situated in Adlington Central Business Park, the new 45,000 sq ft facility marks an expansion for the firm, with parent, Andrew Porter, celebrating its 50 anniversary.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n The new facility, on the site of a former steelworks, was opened by professional boxer, and Chorley native, Jack Catterall.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n Supermarket, Lidl, is set to move in close to the location, adding to the area\u2019s vibrant commercial landscape.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n The centre boasts 344 indoor self-storage units, ranging from a compact 15 sq ft unit to a spacious 200 sq ft space, alongside 60 outdoor containers with convenient drive-up access.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n Porterstore managing director, Tim Aspey, said: \u201cThe rising demand for quality self-storage solutions over the past five years has been remarkable.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n \u201cAdlington, with its dynamic community and excellent transport links, emerged as the perfect location for our new venture. We\u2019re excited to offer top-notch storage options for both personal and business needs.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n Features at the new storage facility include round-the-clock security, eco-friendly solar panels, electric vehicle charging points, and additional amenities like free parking, wifi, a meeting room, toilets, and a self-service kitchen.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n There are also large passenger and goods lifts, and the team is on hand to assist with loading and unloading.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
