comprising 15 flats and seven houses, and a commercial unit, provision of parking, waste storage and external landscaping.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #222222;\"><span style=\"font-family: Lato, Helvetica Neue, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Objections to the newest proposal raised concerns about the operating hours, the number of vehicles going in and out, parking, highway impact and more.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #222222;\"><span style=\"font-family: Lato, Helvetica Neue, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Petersfield Town Council had no objections but wanted the condition that if approved, the hours of business would be from 7 am to 10 pm.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #222222;\"><span style=\"font-family: Lato, Helvetica Neue, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">The final officer\u2019s report stated the operating hours would be:<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #222222;\"><span style=\"font-family: Lato, Helvetica Neue, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">7.30 am to 8 pm &#8211; Mondays to Fridays<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #222222;\"><span style=\"font-family: Lato, Helvetica Neue, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">8 am to 8 pm &#8211; Saturdays, Sundays and bank holidays<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #222222;\"><span style=\"font-family: Lato, Helvetica Neue, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">In addition, a member of the self-storage staff must be present on-site at all times during the hours of operation.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #222222;\"><span style=\"font-family: Lato, Helvetica Neue, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">The reason for the hours and the employee onsite is \u201cto protect the residential amenities of the locality\u201d.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #222222;\"><span style=\"font-family: Lato, Helvetica Neue, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Considering the number of vehicles, the transport addendum said: \u201c The proposed offices would likely result in some 6 or 7 vehicles manoeuvring to and from the site during the morning and evening peak hour periods with a total of 18 vehicles arriving at, and departing from, the site over the course of a 12 hour day.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #222222;\">\u201c<span style=\"font-family: Lato, Helvetica Neue, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Peak hour vehicle trips associated with the existing hairdresser\/beauty salon use would likely be lower than for office use, although it is difficult to provide a detailed trip estimate due to a lack of hairdresser\/beauty salons in the TRICS database. However, given the low level of trips associated with the proposed office use, it is not considered that a change of use from hairdresser to office would have any effect on the operation of the local highway network.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #222222;\">\u201c<span style=\"font-family: Lato, Helvetica Neue, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">It is considered that the proposals will not materially change the level of trips to and from the site and would not be detrimental to the operation of the local transport.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #222222;\"><span style=\"font-family: Lato, Helvetica Neue, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">No forklifts will be used within the site, and it is consistent with what was viewed during the site visit by the planning officer.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.petersfieldpost.co.uk\/news\/plans-for-self-storage-facilities-at-trademark-house-in-ramshill-approved-783847\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #222222;\"><span style=\"font-family: Lato, Helvetica Neue, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Source<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Plans for an industrial building next to the Esso service station in Ramshill have been given the green light.
