A self-storage firm is set to open its sixth site this month, with a seventh in the pipeline.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n blue self storage has its flagship site in Llanishen, Cardiff. It is due to open in Bristol this month, and a seventh site is also underway in Horton Road, Gloucester.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n Chris Bryan, managing director of blue self storage, said:<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n \u201cWe\u2019re growing fast, but we\u2019re growing with intention. Every site reflects our values: bold design, operational quality, and a commitment to giving back locally.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n Earlier this year, the firm’s Llanishen facility was named UK External Storage Site of the Year at the Self Storage Association Awards, the third time a blue self storage site has won such an award in the last five years.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n \u201cTo be recognised nationally once is an achievement, but to win three times in five years is a reflection of our team\u2019s continued passion for raising industry standards,\u201d said Dean Daly, operations director for blue self storage. \u201cWe\u2019re not just placing units on the ground; we\u2019re pushing the industry forward with design, technology, and a strong connection to the communities we serve.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n The award win coincided with the launch of blue self storage\u2019s fifth site, in Treforest, South Wales.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n The business supports grassroots initiatives, from providing free storage units to local charities and food banks to sponsoring junior sports teams, hosting community clean-up days, and helping local start-ups by offering affordable space and flexible terms.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n \u201cWhen we open a site, we don\u2019t just arrive, we connect,\u201d Dean said. \u201cThat might mean helping a local hospice store with event equipment, offering discounts for community groups, or supporting mental health charities with space and promotion. Our teams live and work in these areas, and we take pride in giving back.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
