Now the company has submitted a reserved matters application with more detailed proposals for what the scheme will look like.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">According to the plans, the site will cover 3,035 sq m and include one large self-storage facility at 1,394 sq m and six smaller units for a range of possible uses, including workshops, start-up units, distribution, and trade businesses. Each would range in size between 200 and 361 sq m.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">A design and access statement submitted to Cheshire West and Chester\u2019s planning department on behalf of the applicant, said: <em>\u201cIt is envisaged the unit will be occupied by Rent-a-Space, a premium self-storage provider who predominantly offer secure storage for a range of storage needs<\/em>. <\/span><em>\u201c<span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">Part two comprises six flexible units. \u201cThe units are terraced along the western edge of the site and front across the central car parking area.\u201d<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">The statement said there would also be 68 parking spaces including two for electric vehicles. <\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">It added: <em>\u201cThe development site is located on the northern fringes of Winsford Industrial Estate. <\/em><\/span><em>\u201c<span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">The area is a collection of undeveloped allocated employment sites, located immediately alongside the existing large scale industrial and warehousing units.\u201d<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">The statement said the appearance of the buildings would adopt a \u2018modern, high quality approach\u2019 which would provide for the incoming tenant in the larger building, incorporating some of their corporate branding.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">The report added: <em>\u201cThe soft landscaping for the site sits within a wider context of attractive strategic landscaping which has been implemented as part of Phase 1 of the proposed development.\u201d<\/em> No date has yet been set for a decision.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.winsfordguardian.co.uk\/news\/19871052.huge-new-storage-facility-units-planned-winsford\/\"><strong>Source<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Detailed plans have been submitted for a massive self-storage facility and new business units in Winsford.
