The three existing vehicle storage buildings were purchased with the property. Each structure has more than 6,000 square feet of space and 10 units.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #222222;\"><span style=\"font-family: Lato, Helvetica Neue, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Case applied for commercial building permits for the two new structures in January. Bunker Steel Buildings Inc., of Spokane, which does business as Bunker Buildings and specializes in steel garage construction, is the general contractor. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #222222;\"><span style=\"font-family: Lato, Helvetica Neue, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Groundwork, including paving, was previously completed at the end of 2025, Case adds.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #222222;\"><span style=\"font-family: Lato, Helvetica Neue, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">The total expansion project, including groundwork, building, and electrical work, is valued at $800,000, says Case. Construction is expected to begin as soon as building permits are approved, which could occur by the end of the month, he says. Construction of the two new buildings is expected to be completed this spring.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #222222;\"><span style=\"font-family: Lato, Helvetica Neue, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">&#8220;We&#8217;re just waiting for the finalization on the building permits themselves, which we&#8217;re hoping for any day now,&#8221; Case says.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #222222;\"><span style=\"font-family: Lato, Helvetica Neue, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">A smaller, 7,000-square-foot building with ten units \u2014 similar in design to the three existing storage buildings at the property \u2014 is valued at $275,000, Case says. A second, larger 11,000-square-foot building will be comprised of 18 units with an estimated construction value of $485,000.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #222222;\"><span style=\"font-family: Lato, Helvetica Neue, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Both buildings will feature storage units of 13 feet wide and 48 feet deep. Units in the larger of the two structures will have 110-volt outlets, a feature the other buildings don\u2019t have. The buildings will be constructed barn-style, with wooden framing being constructed first, followed by steel siding and roofing, electrical, and insulation work.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #222222;\"><span style=\"font-family: Lato, Helvetica Neue, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">After the construction of the new structures is complete, SH Storage expects to have 58 units available between its five buildings.
