You\u2019ve heard about the speakers. You\u2019ve heard about the sessions. You\u2019ve heard about the trade show floor, the Georgia Aquarium, the networking, the Thursday night gala, and all the changes we have made to create something different for the self-storage industry.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

So, I\u2019m not going to simply repeat the same list again. Instead, I want to say this: If you have been thinking about attending THE Show, now is the time to register.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

From Nov. 4 to 6, the self-storage industry will come together in Atlanta for three days of education, business, networking, and conversations that can genuinely change the way you look at your operation. We have spent over a year building an event designed around what attendees and exhibitors actually need.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

That starts with education. Our speaker lineup includes experts from across the self-storage industry, and we\u2019ve challenged them to bring fresh ideas to the table. We are not interested in filling rooms with presentations people have heard over and over again. We want discussions about what is happening now, what is changing, and what is coming next. Whether you are focused on development, operations, management, marketing, investment, technology, or growth, the goal is for you to leave Atlanta with information you can actually use.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

We have also made one major scheduling change that I believe will make a tremendous difference for everyone attending. There will be no educational sessions while the trade show floor is open. That means attendees will not have to choose between a session they want to hear and time with exhibitors. When education is happening, you can focus on education. When the trade show floor is open, you can focus on meeting vendors, seeing new products, exploring technology, and finding services that may help your business. For exhibitors, it means attendees are not sitting in breakout rooms while you are waiting for them on the floor. It simply makes sense.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Of course, some of the most valuable parts of any conference happen outside the meeting rooms. THE Show will open with a reception at the Georgia Aquarium, giving attendees an unforgettable place to reconnect with friends, meet new people, and begin the week together. Then, on Thursday evening, we will gather for the Awards Dinner and Gala honoring the 2026 Facility of the Year and Manager of the Year winners. These represent the most prestigious honors in the self-storage industry.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

When THE Show is over, I suspect many people will remember something else just as clearly. Maybe it will be a conversation in the hallway, an introduction over coffee, a vendor who<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

showed them a solution they hadn\u2019t considered, a speaker who made them rethink something they have been doing for years, or a new relationship that leads to a future opportunity.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Those are the moments that make getting on an airplane and showing up in person worthwhile.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
