Sentimental Self Storage is now open for business and owners held a ribbon cutting on Wednesday to kick things off at the location at 1560 Dr. Martin Luther King Pkwy.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Owners Sherry and Dr. Eric Delay and Tom and Donna Shampine welcomed Morristown Area Chamber of Commerce ambassadors and other guests to the location that is across from the new Lincoln Heights Elementary building site.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cWe saw a need for storage,\u201d Tom said. \u201cWe wanted to step up and offer our community a good service. We\u2019ve tried to build a facility that is state of the art.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Eric is a board-certified physician specializing in internal and pediatric medicine and Sherry is a registered nurse and volunteers for Food on Foot and a local parenting group.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The Delays\u2019 son Fletcher attends Russellville Elementary School.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Tom is\/was retired after working in the food service industry and Donna is a licensed aesthetician at Renu Laser Center and Medi Spa.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

They have four adult children and four grandchildren.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Eric said it\u2019s been a good challenge to work on a business outside his medical practice.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cAs a doctor, it\u2019s interesting to get out and do something different,\u201d he said. \u201cYou can get in a rut doing the same things every day, so getting to do business a little different with a group of people is exciting.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
