Tired of letting your RV roast under the Arizona sun? This place might have you covered.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n Portland, Ore<\/span><\/span>gon<\/span><\/span>-based Carefree Covered RV Storage will begin construction next month on its eighth location at the southeast corner of Loma Road and Estrella Parkway, according to a press release today.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n The business anticipates customers can begin parking their vehicles at the Estrella Gin Business Park facility in October.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n This is the first advancement in more than a year for the long-anticipated large vehicle storage facility. In June 2023, the Maricopa Planning and Zoning Commission had approved the major development review permit.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n The storage facility will be able to accommodate 512 RVs with covered parking on its 11 acres, as well as offer wash bays, a dump station and on-site security.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n Barry Raber, the president of the parent company, Business Property Trust, admitted Maricopans don\u2019t have enough options when to comes to RV storage, saying there is a \u201cserious unmet demand for covered RV storage.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
