The grand opening of CubeSmart Self Storage of Jacksonville at 3909 Philips Highway is March 18. <\/span><\/span><\/span>The development is a joint venture between MacArthur Holdings, DYO Investments and Live Oak Capital Partners, the companies said in a March 17 news release.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n The city issued a permit in June 2024 for ARCO\/Murray National Construction Co. to build the CubeSmart at a project cost of $6.11 million. <\/span><\/span><\/span>The three-story, 110,000-square-foot facility includes more than 700 climate-controlled and drive-up units, the release said.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n The 1.81-acre site is south of Emerson Street across the street from the Central Park Business Center.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n ARCO\/Murray National Construction Co. is the architect and general contractor. England-Thims & Miller is the civil engineer. Renasant Bank provided the debt financing for the project.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n \u201cThis property will be the nicest and most convenient self-storage facility in the area, and we believe it will be a welcome addition to the community,\u201d said Brooks Lumpkin of DYO Investments.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n New York-based MacArthur Holdings is a family-owned real estate firm. Atlanta-based DYO Investments specializes in self-storage and retail real estate. Live Oak Capital Partners is a real estate developer based in Atlanta.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n Property records show the land for the storage unit is owned by Live Oak Capital Partners through Philips Highway Self Storage LLC. <\/span><\/span><\/span>It bought the property in July 2023 for $817,500. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
