The development would replace a small retail center with the imposing facility within view of the Capital City Freeway. Texas Investment Company LLC is the project sponsor.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #222222;\"><span style=\"font-family: Lato, Helvetica Neue, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">The 74-foot-tall structure is expected to create 1,591 storage units across roughly 211,200 square feet and 5,000 square feet of commercial retail space. Four retail shops will be added along Alhambra Boulevard. Parking will be included for five bicycles, with space for two loading spaces.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #222222;\"><span style=\"font-family: Lato, Helvetica Neue, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Sullivan Goulette Wilson LTD is the project architect. Illustrations show little of interest, with the complex clad by a mix of grey corrugated metal panels, stucco, and floor-to-ceiling windows. Building signage will be added to the top of the north and west facades. TSD Engineering is working on the project as the civil engineer.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #222222;\"><span style=\"font-family: Lato, Helvetica Neue, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">The retail center at 1125 Alhambra Boulevard had previously been anchored by a Rite Aid Pharmacy. The store closed in 2022 as part of a larger wave of closures by Rite Aid.
