United Properties Group, operating under the name UPG Spaces, has opened HelloSapce+ at Lonesome Quail, a 60,423-square-foot self-storage facility at 141 Lonesome Quail Drive in New Braunfels, Texas. The company oversees day-to-day operations at the privately owned property. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n The property is a single-story building across a 5-acre site. Phase I of the development brought online approximately 400 units, most of which are climate-controlled, with sizes ranging from 25 to 300 square feet. Amenities include drive-up access, U-Haul trucks, trailers, boxes and packing supplies available on site. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n HelloSpace+ at Lonesome Quail is located just off Interstate 35, near several retail options. Other major thoroughfares in the area include highways 337 and 123. Downtown San Antonio is 37 miles southwest. The storage facility is one of four available within a 3-mile radius, offering residents almost 17 net rentable square feet per capita, Yardi Matrix data shows. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n San Antonio ranks highest in June<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n June saw 42 self-storage properties in all stages of development in San Antonio, according to the same source. The under-construction pipeline included 11 facilities, set to add 815,669 rentable square feet to the area.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n The metro\u2019s construction activity rose 0.8 per cent during the same month, positioning San Antonio as the market with the highest month-over-month increase nationally, according to the latest Yardi Matrix report. As the current wave of construction is set to deliver over the next 18 months, the metro may face rate declines if demand doesn\u2019t catch up.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
