Self-Storage Units Proposed on a Lot in Palmerton, PA

A lot at a longtime car wash in the west end section of Palmerton could be converted into self-storage units. Borough Council recently approved the planning commission’s recommendation regarding the Mauch Chunk Road car wash subdivision and land development plan. Borough Manager Autumn Canfield said the owner is listed as Mauch Chunk Wash & Storage LLC and added that the plan indicates self-storage units on one of the lots to be created.
