At its Monday meeting, the Frankfort Village Board approved special use permits for a self-storage facility at 145 Industry Ave.
The business, All Purpose Storage Frankfort LLC, will construct four buildings, Trustee Adam Borrelli said. The buildings will be 32,200 square feet in an I-2 general industrial district.
“These buildings will complement the existing non-conforming storage facility, which currently consists of eight storage buildings,” Borrelli said.
The Board approved special use permits for the facility and for extended hours of operation. It also approved zoning variations to waive the requirement for a loading berth and to allow the use of stone veneer.
Finally, the Board approved the preliminary and final plat of subdivision.
Extended hours would be from 5 a.m. to 11 p.m. The property is 5.59 acres, and includes three parcels that the property owners will consolidate, according to Board documents.
