The former Green Acres Outdoor Living site in Whitehall Township has been sold to a developer who plans to build a self-storage facility.
HSS Mickley LLC purchased the 1.5-acre parcel at 1176 Mickley Road for $2.3 million in May, according to Lehigh County real estate records.
HSS Mickley shares an address in Berwyn, Chester County, with Hearthfire Holdings, a real estate investment firm specializing in self-storage facilities.
The township planning commission approved Hearthfire’s plan for the site in August.
According to Green Acres’ website, the company opened a year-round lawn furniture business at the location in 1991. It moved in 2023 to a larger location along Schantz Road in Lower Macungie Township.
