SurePoint to Develop a Self-Storage Facility in The Woodlands, TX

SurePoint Development, a self-storage owner-operator based in San Antonio, will develop a 90,0000-square-foot (net rentable) facility in The Woodlands, about 30 miles north of Houston. The number of units has not yet been finalized. The site is located near the intersection of Six Pines Drive and Lake Front Circle within The Woodlands Town Center, and the property will feature climate-controlled space. The former Green Acres Outdoor Living site in Whitehall Township has been sold to a developer who plans to build a self-storage facility. HSS Mickley LLC purchased the 1.5-acre parcel at 1176 Mickley Road for $2.3 million in May, according to Lehigh County real estate records. HSS Mickley shares an address in Berwyn, Chester County, with Hearthfire Holdings, a real estate investment firm specializing in self-storage facilities.
