There’s a new star in town – Southern Star Self Storage, located at 3608 US Hwy. 281 between George West and Three Rivers. Gerald Haddock with Haddock Investments is the new owner, and in just the past two weeks, he has given the facility a new look.
To celebrate the opening, a ribbon-cutting ceremony was held on June 5 with support from the George West Chamber of Commerce.
The self-storage units have undergone a renovation with new paint, a thorough cleaning, and repairs. The grounds have been cleaned up and a new sign is in place to let the public know about the change in management.
Southern Star provides storage units of various sizes and price ranges. Whether it is storing a boat, RV, or items to make more space in your garage, there is a storage unit that is just the right size. Additionally, the company provides security and 24-hour access to your things.
President David Wheeler with Silver Star Properties said the biggest change will be in customer service. “We want to provide a higher level of customer service and that when a person calls, they will be taken care of.” The company is proud to be part of the community and believes in being engaged through memberships with both the George West and Three Rivers Chamber of Commerce.
