Lockerquest Increases Size of Thinventory Partnership Adding 1200m to Portfolio

Parcel locker location expert LockerQuest has more than doubled the size of its partnership with a leading delivery brand, helping property owners open new revenue opportunities.

In two years, LockerQuest has significantly increased the portfolio of lockers installed with global provider of business to engineer field inventory networks Thinventory.

In September 2023, LockerQuest had secured sites for Thinventory lockers measuring 1000m in combined width. Following extensive work, the combined width now totals 2200m.

LockerQuest enables site owners to generate additional income by bringing lockers to unused or underutilised space and increasing customer footfall, managing the process from surveys through to installation and providing ongoing account management.

Working on behalf of the leading delivery brands including Thinventory, LockerQuest strategically positions lockers at high-traffic, accessible locations including shopping centres, convenience stores, retail parks, train stations, car parks and community hubs.

With 25 years of experience, Thinventory delivers critical parts to engineers, helping customers meet tight service level agreements, and operate more efficiently.

Thinventory supports the logistics and operational requirements of field engineers across multiple industries, including utilities, telco, IT, healthcare and data centres.

LockerQuest CEO Jonathan White said: “We are delighted to have extended our positive working relationship with Thinventory, bringing benefits to both sides and our growing number of space partners.

Working together we are helping the business community, bringing new revenue streams from the use of their empty space and additional footfall.

We have a great partnership, whereby LockerQuest offers visible, accessible and great locations, while Thinventory consistently deliver high quality services, bringing great opportunities for the future.”

With its HQ in Slough, Thinventory operates nine distribution centres across the UK, with key sites including Coventry, London, Bristol and Glasgow.

Thinventory Chief Operating Officer Andy Crees said: “Thinventory’s strong reputation for business to engineer field inventory solutions is built upon proven reliability and 99.7 per-cent on-time delivery performance, so we value our work with LockerQuest.

We appreciate the support which LockerQuest provide, securing locations which mean engineers in key sectors such as utilities and healthcare can access parts and equipment for their work, with lockers being a valued offering among our growing range of solutions designed to tackle supply chain challenges.”

As well as working with Thinventory, LockerQuest partners with leading delivery brands including Amazon, YEEP! and Shift Collect.
