The city could soon see two more storage unit facilities as developers plan to make their way to City Council in the next two weeks. The 704-unit property will be located at the intersection of Rio Road West and Seminole Trail, about three miles north of the University of Virginia. According to a permit filed last week with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, a project called “Self Storage” began construction on Aug. 28, 2023 and is projected to be completed by July 28, 2024.
