UK Storage Company has received planning permission for signage at its Cheltenham facility on Chosen View Road, following earlier consent for self-storage use and partial demolition of the former Buildbase site granted in October 2025. The conversion involves re-cladding, a mezzanine extension, and 74 external units providing 1,243 sqm of floorspace. Work is already underway.
The scheme illustrates a continuing trend of redundant commercial premises being adapted for self-storage use across UK towns.
