Palm Springs’ Architectural Review Committee unanimously approved a development permit for a 92,400-square-foot self-storage facility at 900 North Farrell Drive after three rounds of review. The project, proposed by Legacy Built Investments & Development LLC, underwent significant design revisions, including the removal of faux roll-up door elements and the addition of landscape screening along Farrell Drive.

Final approval was conditioned on uniform architectural treatment at all four building corners. The case highlights the level of design review self-storage projects can face in cities with established aesthetic standards.
