Bridgewater, New Jersey’s Zoning Board of Adjustment has approved a self-storage facility on a 5.4-acre site at Routes 22 and 28, with a 5-2 vote concluding a review that spanned seven hearings between March 2025 and October 2026. Multiple use and bulk variances were required, as self-storage is not permitted in the C3 zone. Conditions include access hours of 6 a.m. to 10 p.m., no outdoor storage, no tractor-trailers, and lighting restrictions.
The existing Melick’s Farm Stand will be preserved on the property.
