STORExpress has acquired a nearly century-old, 168,000-square-foot storage facility on North Avenue in downtown Youngstown, Ohio, for $1.48 million at auction. The property is currently operating under new ownership. STORExpress, which runs 11 locations across Ohio and Pennsylvania, plans to renovate the building into a drive-through self-storage facility, with completion targeted for spring 2027.
The purchase extends the operator’s footprint into the Youngstown market and reflects continued regional operator interest in repositioning older storage assets.
