The Hoover, Alabama Planning and Zoning Commission is scheduled to review a proposal for a 39,105-square-foot indoor self-storage facility on Valleydale Road, adjacent to the Jefferson State Community College Shelby-Hoover campus. The proposed development would include 500 climate-controlled storage units and 6,000 square feet of office space.
The site is located west of the college campus. The application is one of several land use items on the commission’s agenda and has not yet received approval.
