SAFStor Buys Land for Potential Self-Storage Development in Glenwood, Oregon

Atlanta-based SAFStor has acquired 5.75 acres in Glenwood, Oregon for $1.43 million, per a Lane County deed filed September 2. The company has also secured an $11.4 million construction line of credit on the property, though no development plans have been made public. The site, located off Judkins Road near Interstate 5, would represent SAFStor’s first Oregon project among its roughly 80 nationwide developments. US Storage Centers to Manage New Class A Facility in Upland, California

Westport Properties has added a newly completed self-storage facility in Upland, California to its third-party management portfolio under the US Storage Centers brand. The four-story property at 1382 East Foothill Blvd, developed and owned by Buchanan Street Partners, offers approximately 123,000 rentable square feet across more than 1,100 units. The building replaces a vacant medical office structure and is one of the few new climate-controlled facilities delivered in the trade area.
