Addition Draws Artisan Close to 2 Million SF Under Management
Artisan Properties, a Georgia-based self-storage management company, announced today that it has assumed third-party management of The Mini Storage Center portfolio, a collection of 10 self-storage facilities across North and South Carolina. The transition, effective April 1, 2026, brings Artisan Properties’ total portfolio to more than 1.9 million net rentable square feet under management.
The Mini Storage Center portfolio features properties in key Carolina markets, including Charlotte, NC, and Spartanburg and Myrtle Beach, SC. The portfolio comprises approximately 4,600 units across 630,000 net rentable square feet. The properties will continue to operate under The Mini Storage Center brand.
The management transition follows a multi-year consulting relationship between Artisan Properties and The Mini Storage Center’s previous management company, Waters Incorporated, during which Artisan worked closely with the portfolio to modernize operations and implement technology-driven management systems.
